Women Employment in Urban Public Transport Sector

WISE - Work Meetings: Berlin

On the 19th/20th of April 2011 the Steering Committee visited the urban public transport company of Berlin (Germany), the BVG Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe.
Discussions with the board of directors, the personnell management, the work council and the Trade Union representatives as well as with the Berlin work agency were on our agenda.

We had interesting meetings with the board of women representatives of the BVG and with a group of female apprentices who learn a technical profession.
